Like a rain
we both are
freezing in the train.
Hugging and breathing
cold air,
Thinking how is it unfair
that we need to be in the back.
All the people in the front
expect us to live in a shack.
I hug you, You hug me.
Now I feel like a warm green sea.
Everyone just knows for sure

Ну так в те времена нам и слово "голубой" не особо резало слух. Был даже мульт "Голубой щенок", а в переводе "Укрощения строптивого" с Челентано звучат слова "Голубой принц" - и ни в том ни в друом случае имелись в виду не геи!

Была еще песенка "Голубой вагон". Это к слову. Однако всплывший из памяти стишок по прочтении ребенкиного стихотворения у меня не вызвал подобной ассоциации. А слово "Gay" воспринялось как и много-много лет назад в его буквальном, исконном значении.

When I speak words climb out,
The words come out and echo around the silent room,

The boy and girl climb up the steps,
The twins look down at the audience,

The tears I cry

First I had a friend,

And games,

A river to flow

Seats in the bus
Are a mountain out of a molehill
For her.

The seat in the
Bus,

Made her mad
She shooed me

My cheeks.

I stare out

Why the Humans are not Wise

What you're
